1- Phone Consultation

We start every project with a brief 10-15 minute conversation about your project.  This is where we gather basic information about your project.  A quick run-down of everything you are wanting to do to the space.  It is possible to receive a “Ballpark” price range at this time. This is also the first time we will broach the subject of budget.  It is important both the homeowner and contractor understand what the budget is, so we can all make decisions to keep the project on track.

2- On Site Consultation

After we’ve got the basics out of the way, it is time to visit the site.  Here, we will take careful measurements and pictures of the space.  It is very helpful to have some pictures of your dream space as well.  This helps us take your dreams and merge them into the reality of the space and budget.  Here we will work to ensure everything you want to be done, can be done within the space.

3- Initial Estimate

With all the measurements and pictures, we can build our estimate.  This may involve getting a preliminary set of building plans, but not always.  Our estimates will include a detailed scope of work and include a budget for all materials necessary for completion of the project.

4- Design and Contract

Once you have approved the initial estimate, we move to the design phase.  This is where you will actually select the “Finish” materials for the project.  In a bathroom, this would be things like tile, shower faucets, and fixtures.  These are items that have been budgeted, but your selections may differ from the initial estimate.  Once all the design elements have been selected, a finalized estimate and contract will be submitted for review and signature!

5- Construction

Before we begin construction, you will be given a detailed schedule of the work to be completed.  We believe with this work, you need to be informed of what will happen all along the way.  Every work day will end in a job-site clean up and a check-out with the homeowner.  This is where we can answer any lingering questions and keep you informed.
